Rare Book School Open Doors in Calofornia

"UCLA's Graduate School of Education & Information Studies is now offering a one-of-a-kind continuing-ed program called the California Rare Book School that "provides training for students and professionals in the field of rare books and manuscripts," the facility announced.

Limited to 15 students per class, UCLA said the program "offers five intensive, hands-on weeklong courses on the history of books and printing, rare book librarianship, and related subjects, including descriptive bibliography, illustration, cataloging and the history of the book in the American West."
