Cornell Libraries Teams Up With Microsoft’s Book Search

The Cornell University Libraries will team up with Microsoft to digitize books already in the public domain and upload them online using Microsoft’s Live Book Search service. Kirtas Technologies is contracted to scan up to 2400 pages per hour. For more details you can also check the press release from Cornell University.

At the same time the rival Google Book Search announced that University of Wisconsin is one of their latest partners.
