Google Pays For Jotspot And Launches Javascript G-Mail

Google acquired JotSpot, a company, which builds wiki-based applications and it is famous for its online spreadsheet and calendar that could be edited by multiple clients.

This week Google also announced the Javascript release of Gmail for mobile phones.
Here is a summary of the new features:
*automatic synchronization with the desktop
*up to five times faster access and use
*automatic pre-fetching of messages
*reduced clicks and scrolling to access email and reading
*attachments( files and photos) viewable and automatically resized to fit the user's phone
