Google News Archive Vs Commercial Databases?

Marry Ellen Bates, an expert in business and internet research and one of the top info brokers in the country has a nice review of Google News Archive in her Search Tip Of The Month column on her site.

In a nutshell, she concludes that Google News Archive is a good starting point for your research on past topics, but it not as thorough and reliable as content coming from the big commercial database aggregators like Proquest, Lexis Nexis and Factiva.
