ALA With Custom Search Engine And A Wiki For Professional Info

The "Librarian’s E-Library"is the newest ALA web professional development tool build on Google Coop customized search engine technology. The engine searches over 125 key library sites.

ALA also started the "Professional Tips" wiki site as a sub service for the rich resources of ALA’s website. The main goal of the new wiki is to gather ALA's responses to professional questions from libraries and enable the library community to share new resources.

Both web professional development tools are open to contributors with registration. To participate in the development of the new custom search engine librarians need Google account.
