Founder Of Wikipedia To Start New Search Engine

There is a lot of buzz lately about a new search engine in the workings by the founder of
Wikipedia Jimmy Wales.

The name of the new search engine is a mystery, but the software is named
Wikiasari- "a combination of wiki, the Hawaiian word for quick, and asari, which is Japanese for “rummaging search”.", according to an article in The Times Online, which first broke the news.

" I am looking for people to continue the development of a wiki-inspired search engine. Specifically community members who would like to help build people-powered search results and developers to help us build an open-source alternative for web search", explains the idea of the new search engine Jimmy Wales on the specially designed SearchWiki site for the project.
Phil Bradley has an interesting review of the new wiki-people-powered search engine project.
