EBSCO Opens Health Library, CSA With New Product

EBSCO decided to open their Health Library to patients during hospitalization. Doctors and librarians could now print to patients quality medical information for consultation.

Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) also announces a new product in the workings: CSA Illustrata, which "provides web-based access to indexed tables, figures, maps, graphs, charts and other images contained in scholarly articles" According to CSA, this is a new breakthrough in indexing that I think will most probably force other big database vendors to pay more attention to the short info in pictures, graphs, captions and maps.
