Second Life Introduces Real Speech

In the second quarter of 2007 Second Life plans to introduce a system that mimics speech in real-time . Up to 100 people will be able to chat at the same time. For a little extra money private island owners could subscribe for voice on their land.

If you want to be one of the first 1000 residents to try the new product in beta, you a can email Linden Lab, the creator of the popular virtual community Second Life at 3dvoice@lindenlab.com. Linden Lab plans to introduce the new life chat worldwide in May or June.
