I don’t know about you but I could never afford to buy a rare books, so when I found the Rare Book Room website I was very interested.
The Rare Book Room webpage contains 400 rare digitized books including books by Darwin, Galileo, Einstein, Newton, Copernicus, Shakespeare and even the "complete copies of Poor Richard ’s Almanac by Benjaman Franklin."
"Octavo" is the name of the company behind the digital project and they even offer some of the books for sale on CD format.
If you need to take a peek at the a very rare edition of the Gutenberg ’s Bible
( 1455), "Galileo's "Siderius Nuncius", the first printing of the Bill of Rights, and the Magna Carta" this is your site.
All you have to do is go to the website, select an author, subject or library, where your book is located and download a copy to read.
