Bookswim and BooksFree “Netflix” Books To Your Home

In January I wrote about BookSwim and it turns out that this is not the only "Netflix" type book club.

In Vienna, Virginia there is a web site called Booksfree.com,which will "rent" paperbacks, CDs, MP3s and audiobooks. For $15.99 you can check out 2 books at a time. CDs, MP3s and audiobooks will cost you a little more -$27.49

Bookswim plans range from $19.99 to $35.99 and if you choose to purchase the book they promise big discounts.

Both sites have no late fees, allow you to keep the books as long as you want and offer free shipping both ways.

Libraries should be a little more concern when they find about competitors like BookSwim and Booksfree, and if they haven’t loosen up their borrowing policies they need to. You should be able to renew your book as long as you want providing that nobody else has a hold ( request) on it.
