Webcast: Nobel Winners On Origins Of Life And Universe

This post is not going to be about libraries or technology but is about the fundamental question that we all wonder about from time to time: Who are we and where are we coming from?

An attempt to answer this question was made by two Nobel Laureates Craig Mello and John Mather during a videotaped presentation hosted at the John W. Kluge Center of Library of Congress and sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

The webcast is over two hours, so prepare yourself for a long ride. I have watched the first hour of the webcast and when I get a chance I will definitely watch the second one. If you have time, don’t pass the unique opportunity to learn about the history of the Universe from award winning scientists.
