Google Dives Into Space And Starts Embedded Maps

We haven’t talked about Google for a long time and there are a few interesting developments that I need to mention.

The new Geogle Earth ( version 4.2) comes with Sky, a new space imagery product, which will allow you to see "distant galaxies hundreds of millions of light years away, explore the constellations, see the planets in motion, witness a supernova explosion".

To use the product, you need to download the latest version of Google Earth and click on Sky. The folks at Google have even created an instructional video for you.

This week Google started another exciting feature – embedded Google Maps. With embedded Google Maps, you can now place maps on your webpages, wikis and blogs. To place a map, users need to pull up a Google Map of their choice and click on "Link to this page" and simply copy & paste the HTML code into their webpages.
