Google Reader With Search And My Library Added to Google Books

Google would not be Google if they don’t innovate or add something new every 10 days. This time search was introduced for the first time to Google Reader, allowing customers to search their saved ( starred articles), shared materials and subscriptions. This feature is very handy, especially for librarians who keep a lot of posts in their RSS based Google Reader.

Google Blogoscoped, the blog devoted to Google hapennings 24/7 posted about My Library – new feature added to Google Books, where users can save their favorite books. My Library is a Google webpage with your saved books, open to the public and searchable through Google Books. With this new service you can also tag, write reviews or rate your favorite books.

For all book lovers having one more Internet place besides Library Thing to learn, read and write about their favorite hobby is another opportunity that they are not going to miss.
