Nationwide Visits To Public Libraries In 2005 Totaled 1.4 billion

According to the latest "Public Libraries in the United States: Fiscal Year 2005" report released by the National Center For Education Statistics visits to public libraries totaled 1.4 billion.

This report, which is a must read for all senior administrators includes "national and state summary data on public libraries in the 50 states and the District of Columbia, with an introduction, selected findings, and several tables."
