True Knowledge is the name that the engineers in Cambridge UK, decided to give to their brand new natural language search engine.
I tried to sign for the beta testing of the engine, but it took a long time, so I will recommend reading TechCrunch post, which compares two natural language search engines True Knowledge and Powerset.
True Knowledge is very vague about their proprietary technology and this is understandable. One thing is sure-both engines are trying to “ convert natural language queries into database-understandable queries” and will take a while before we find out, exactly how they do it. For now, singing up for beta trials for both engines is worth the trip.
Library Blog Buzz also has a previous post about Powerset, which you can find here.
