Merriam-Webster With New Visual Dictionary

Resourceshelf is obviously not taking a long break for Thanksgiving because the editors of the
legendary blog found out that Merriam-Webster has started a brand new visual dictionary online called Visual Dictionary Online.

" The Visual Dictionary Online employs a tree structure. The 15 themes at the top of the structure are divided into sub-themes, then into subjects and sub-subjects. You can also move from one level to another by clicking on a level title."

The other nice features of the visual dictionary are the option to listen to the pronunciation of terms, the ability to blog the images, play educational games and generally, enjoy more than 6,000 images.
