Mozilla Moves Into Web Services With Weave

Mozilla the company behind Firefox announced in the beginning of this year that they are starting a new product for customers called Weave. The service simply saves your personal information: passwords, bookmarks, account names and synchronizes them with your Firefox browser.

Weave is especially useful for computer centers at libraries, or at any time when customers are not at home and they need to retrieve their personal information.

" Just like Mozilla enables massive innovation by making Firefox open on many levels, we will aim to do the same with Weave by developing an open extensible framework for services integration.", explained the engineers from Mozilla. We should keep an eye on Mozilla because, the foundation is famous for starting innovative and practical applications like Firefox and it looks like Weave is headed the same way.
