Free Software For Your PC

Library Blog Buzz has always highlighted useful open source programs for libraries and Web 2.0 applications to its readers and now Gary Price from Resourceshelf is pointing out to “14 Fantastic Freeware Finds” from PC World.

The most useful one for me is Restoration, which will restore deleted files for you. How many times you have deleted a file and than wished you had never done so. Another good one is FolderGuide, that arranges all of your favorite files in Windows with a simple right click.

Wavosaur, the free digital audio editing software and Andorsa FileProtector for encrypting and protecting your files also sound very intriguing. Read the whole article, to see if there is another application that you might like.
