vozMe, A New Text-To-Speech Tool

We have posted about text-to-speech tools in our blog before. Remember Odiogo, the service that transferred text into audio files for blogs and websites. (Unfortunately available only for WordPress, Blogger and TypePad blogging platforms, not Opera)

Librarian in Black blog found another text-to-speech tool called vozMe that immediately converts any text into an MP3 file.

vozMe also offers javascript snippets and plug-ins that let your website visitors choose to listen to the text on your website with VozMe. You can also download their bookmarklet that allows you to select any text in a browser to hear in speech format, on the fly. And you can download a VozMe iGoogle gadget or a Facebook widget. *wow*

With so many iPods, MP3 players and all kinds of portable devices more and more bloggers should think of converting their text files into audio.
