Best Books Of 2008 Selected By The Editors In New York Times

I don’t want you to get the impression that Library Blog Buzz is all about technology and nothing else.

Although technology is the primary focus, as a blog covering the world of libraries, you will still find information here about recommended books, magazines and DVDs.

Resourceshelf pointed out to a New York Times publication called " The 10 Best Books of 2008", which describes the five best recommended book titles for the year in fiction and nonfiction.

On the left side of the screen, avid readers will also be able to find the best book list from 1997 to 2007 and even click on a link to Amazon, where they can purchase the books.

Before you spend any money on these titles, please go to www.WorldCat.org (*see our coverage of it here) and check which local library near your address carries the book that you are interested in.

Don’t agree with the editors of New York Times? Take a look at the list "Best Books 2008" published by Library Journal.
