Sony Offers Improved eReader

The newly improved eReader released by Sony just came out with the promise of a breakthrough e Ink® technology imitating paper-like reading even in bright sunshine.

The new ebook reader holds 160 books, is only half an inch thin and "with its rechargeable battery you can turn up to 7,500 continuous pages on a single charge."

USB cable charges the new device, which also supports documents in PDF, Rich Text, and if you want to buy books, you have to use the supplied cable and download them off Sony's eBook Store.

I had used the previous version of eReader by Sony and wasn’t very impressed with the "paper like" technology, and I am convinced that we have a long way to go, before readers want to replace books with digital devices.
